You find Siddinghausen on a steep slope of the Alme valley, 5 km south of Büren. The farm is in the centre of the village near the church.
The Happe-Schöler farm looks back at a history of more than 500 years. Ancestors of our family have repeatedly visited the farm (e.g. from the US) in search of their «roots».
The buildings you can see today were erected in 1897. The big rooms and the high front gable (constructed in local red brickstone) are quite impressive.
In 1999 we went out of dairy-farming; the spacious barn has been occupied by beef cattle and horses ever since.
